In August we see the overlap of the late breeding season and early fall migration amont the birds of Cape May.  Wildflowers and insects still thrive in August's warm temperatures, but the sun is setting noticeably earlier and change is evident in every part of the natural world.  In August of 2021 I led my first trip out of the region after about 1 1/2 years without travel, due to the pandemic, so this page is shorter than most.  Still, Cape May provided many delights.
