Holiday greetings 2025 from Paige & Mark
We are still living in West Cape May, NJ, still in relatively good health, each continuing to do some work and also engage in volunteer activities, and still finding opportunities to explore this wonderful world. We try not to think too much about the horrors of the current US government -- this holiday greeting isn't the place for us to elaborate on that. Above photo is from the west coast of Ireland, from a trip we made in June.
We traveled with a group from Nature Forward on an expedition cruise starting in Greenland and traveling most of the way across the Northwest Passage of Canada. We also enjoyed visiting spots closer to home, including New York (partly to see animal sculptures by Gillie & Marc), and visits to family. Of course we also enjoy Cape May, our gardens, and the amazing opportunity to put transmitters on monarch butterflies to track their southward migrations (learn more about the monarch work here). When we're home, Paige creates artwork every day and Mark takes a bird walk every day.
Dear friends Michael O'Brien and Louise Zemaitis convinced their bosses at Victor Emanuel Nature Tours that I could work with them on a couple of trips that warranted a third leader. I joined them for a trip to Antarctica in January and one to the Galapagos Islands in November. I'm scheduled to work with them twice in 2027, on an Amazon River cruise in February and back to the Galapagos in November.

We marvel at the natural wonders of our world on a daily basis, but the most vivid memories are all centered around the friends we're lucky to spend time with, a few shown here.
