In January we traveled to Panama with a group of friends, spending time in the mountains and also along the Caribbean coast.

Mark enjoyed 2 winter trips to Costa Rica.

In spring we visited a nearby tulip farm and then went south to Asheville and the Great Smoky Mountains.

Mark continues to guide at the New River Birding and Nature Festival (left) and at the Hog Island Audubon Camp (right) every spring.

In June we traveled to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks with our Kentucky family.

We wrapped up summer with a magical vacation in Switzerland.

We stay close to home for most of autumn each year.  It's the ideal season for enjoying Cape May and nearby areas.  A highlight of this fall was helping out on a pilot project tracking monarch butterflies with tiny solar-powered transmitters (shown at left), amazing devices developed by our friends at Cellular Tracking Technologies.

We look forward to 2024, sending best wishes to all of our friends and hoping for a more peaceful world.
